Ariki Holidays started as an idea on a whiteboard in a Wellington flat in 2014. Kave, born in NZ from Cook Island parents, at a cross -roads of his 28 years in the NZ Air Force and Jules, UK born and a 25 year NZ resident, also at a professional cross-roads, decided the future was in the Cook islands. So the whiteboard planning started in the cold Wellington winter.
